Form factors and structure functions of hadrons in the non-local quark model

AbstractThe form factor of dipole type and the structure function with the threshold behaviour (1−x′)3 are derived for the proton in the non-local quark theory where deeply bound quarks are assumed in the relative motion of characteristic harmonic oscillation.

Relativistic wave equation for the harmonically confined quark-antiquark system

AbstractA covariant wave equation with simple algebraic structure is proposed to described the binary quark-antiquark system. The harmonic confinement mechanisms built in the equation leads to the linear square-mass spectrum with adjustable hyperfine splitting.
