Abstract:

ABSTRACTExperimental test results of a 13 kW (3kW 24h-mean) solar-driven absorption refrigerator, located in Khartoum, The Sudan, are presented. The tests show that the solar-driven refrigerator performed satisfactorily during the first 5 months of operation. The refrigerator produces 3 kW 24h-mean cooling power. Continued tests will have to show the ultimate system performance.
