Abstract:

AbstractThe upgrade of the L3 detector for running at the LHC will be discussed. After reviewing the two options of the expression of interest, which have been presented in Evian, the detector layout presented in the letter of intent will be discussed in more detail. Its principle goals are the precise measurement of electrons, photons and muons.
