The effect of particle-vibration coupling due to the collective 2+ state on the magnetic moments of Tl-isotopes

AbstractThe mass number dependence of magnetic moments of Tl-isotopes is studied by taking into account the effect of the first 2+ states of Pb-isotopes in the framework of the particle-vibration coupling model. It is shown that a significant difference of magnetic moments of 207Tl to 203,205Tl can be understood by the difference in the excitation energies of the collective 21+ states between 208Pb and 204,206Pb.
