Highlights•NMDAR antibodies are infrequently found in opsoclonus-myoclonus syndrome (OMS).•Diagnosis of OMS warrants evaluation for neuronal surface receptor autoantibodies, and exclusion of teratomas.•Secondary (as yet unidentified) co-accompanying antibodies are likely needed to result in OMS.
