Abstract:
Highlights•Developed high performance antireflective coatings at Broad Band region.•A novel in-situ method was followed to synthesize hollow MgF2 nanoparticles.•Achieved average transmittance of 98.3% in the visible and 96.2% in active solar range.•No efficiency loss was observed with AR coated cover glass on the c-Si solar cell.•These coatings can be promising for all sort of photovoltaic and solar thermal systems.
