Abstract:

Highlights•One-step synthesis of TiO2 with different anatase/rutile ratios at low temperature.•Peroxotitanium complex has attracted much attention to prepare more active TiO2.•Carbonate-like species formed in situ and enhanced visible light absorption.•Enhanced the visible light photocatalytic activity for degradation of RhB and OII.•The proposed approach is greatly energy-efficient and environmentally benign.
