Abstract:
AbstractA stable numerical method is introduced for the identification of population densitiesand spatially dependent diffusion coefficients in a Lotka-Volterra predator-prey model in which bias dispersal is present. In this problem, noisy data at the active boundary and initial measured population densities are given. This algorithm makes no assumption on the amount and/or character of the noise in the data.
