Health risk assessment of selected pesticide residues in green pepper and cucumber

Abstract:

Highlights•Green peppers and cucumbers were analysed for 170 pesticides by QuEChERS-LC-MS/MS.•The method was validated according to the European SANTE/11945/2015 Guideline.•Pesticide residues were detected in 12.9% of peppers and 13.5% of cucumbers.•The levels were below the EU MRLs.•Propamocarb and chlorpyrifos were the major contributors to hazard index.
