Abstract:
Highlights•Aqueous Quantum dot used as sensor has a ceiling temperature.•MSA-CdTe possess a higher ceiling temperature 60 °Cthan TGA-CdTe 45 °C.•A stable linear correlation with a slope of 0.16 nm/ °C is showed between the peak shift and temperature.•Photothermal sensitivity is independent to the size of quantum dot in studied size range.
