Highlights•H19 and DNMT3B expressions are upregulated in bladder cancer tissues and cells.•H19 enhances proliferation, migration and invasion of bladder cancer cells.•H19 promotes tumorigenesis, metastasis and angiogenesis of bladder cells in vivo.•H19 regulates the expressions of proteins associated with EMT and DNMT3B.•MiR-29b-3p directly targets H19/DNMT3B in bladder cancer.
