Abstract:

AbstractThe two furanoheliangolides budlein A and a new compound, °4,15-isoatripliciolide tiglate, were isolated from the hexaploid sunflower Helianthus schweinitzii. Budlein A has been previously isolated from H. angustifolius, a diploid species suggested as a possible progenitor of H. schweinitzii.
