Abstract:
AbstractThe electric surface potential of 2-methyl-2-propylpropandiol-1,3-dicarbamate, pentamethylentetrazol and N-methyl-1, 5,6-tetrahydropyridine-3-carboxylic acid methyl ester solutions in 0·1 N potassium chloride have been measured at different pH values. The dynamic jet method and the radioactive electrode method with 239Pu (half-life period 2·4 × 104 y) were used. Both give similar potential changes, except that the radioactive electrode gives somewhat higher results at low concentrations.
